Fit checklist: when Ninon deserves a serious look

Last reviewed: May 2026

Use this page as an internal conversation guide. None of the criteria substitute for a pilot; they help avoid both false positives and false negatives during a first screen.

Problem fit

You carry material intercompany breaks across multiple entities, narrations rarely align by construction, and controllers spend disproportionate time reconstructing context each close.

Data fit

You can obtain structured GL extracts (CSV or Excel) or are willing to wire supported ERP connectors. You can identify which legal entity each line belongs to in Ninon.

Governance fit

You want explainable proposals, explicit approvals, and continuity of decisions—not fully automated booking without human sign-off on sensitive matches.

FAQ

Is Ninon suited to very small organisations?
The target is a multi-entity group with meaningful intercompany volume. Without structurally important intragroup flows, value is limited.
Do we need a dedicated IT team?
Not necessarily at first: file imports and a finance-led pilot often suffice. ERP connectors and API automation follow when IT is ready.
What to verify before a pilot?
Availability of GL extracts per entity, finance/consolidation sponsors, and explicit expectation of human sign-off on sensitive matches.
